What does RETTER Clothing do and why is it so good?
Spoiler: We make clothes. And we are 100% good.
How it begins – good.
We source our goods exclusively from suppliers who can guarantee the highest standards. This applies to sustainability in the cultivation of raw materials, social standards in the processing factories, and thus also to the finished products.
Our main partner is multi-certified – including by Oeko Tex, the Fair Wear Foundation, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and PETA-approved vegan. Other suppliers are great, but sometimes not certified – here we create transparency, but at least know that we only have good partners on board.
How it continues – better.
We design products in Germany and have them finished and shipped in Europe. From our textiles, to how we treat our suppliers, to ourselves – we buy well, make good better, and then look forward to making "our" textiles your favorite piece.
And what's unique about it – the best.
Up to this point, we have many, many competitors – and that's okay. Now comes the difference: we donate our profit back into the society from which we earned it. Not just one euro per garment or 10% of our profit, as others do. We donate everything. So we don't misunderstand: we have to pay our suppliers and employees (and taxes!) and more, advertising and rent as well as our telephones. But whatever profit is generated after deducting all costs, we donate to charitable organizations.
To which organizations are the profits donated?
We donate in particular to organizations that are committed to environmental protection, sustainable management, social coexistence, and medical care and prevention. We want to make a difference wherever it is needed – at the end of the world, but also right on our doorstep. Our preferred donation portal: betterplace.org
